Bereavement Therapy
Having lost a pivotal person in my life while in graduate school, I was forced to cope with the resources that I had available to me at the time. Therapy was not an option. I was busy, a full-time student, and did not have the energy or the will to find or get help for me or my family. I resorted to self-help books, and thankfully with the support of my friends and family was able to overcome my difficulties.
It was at that time that I promised myself to help facilitate services to those who have lost loved ones. With that said, my team and I take a special interest in bereavement. We offer affordable fees for those who are self-pay. If you cannot afford the costs of services, even with the sliding scale, we will do the best we can to help you find a therapist you can trust.
I have also found that those with a genuine desire for mental health services sometimes simply don’t have the time to receive them. More worrisome still, those that mourn deeply or suffer from depression tend to lack the very motivation necessary to physically seek out services. This is why we’ll either come to you – in person, over the phone, or online, or you can come to us. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating.
