After more than decade in the mental health field, first as a student and now as a practitioner, I have found that those with a genuine desire for mental health services sometimes simply don’t have the time to receive them. As a mother of six children, I also know of the obstacles that come with leaving your home to go to therapy. Knowing first hand of the difficulties associated with finding and receiving mental health services, I created a private practice with the goal of making it easy to receive treatment.

I received a dual Master’s Degree in Mental Health & Marital, Couple, and Family Therapy from Barry University in 2009. I then attained my Doctoral in Psychology Degree from Albizu University. For the past ten years I have held many different types of positions such as the Director of Mental Health at At-Risk outpatient Juvenile facilities, to completing my practicum hours at a Children’s hospital, and as a clinician at a local jail, and at a community mental health center. I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings with diverse populations.
As the saying goes, “do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life”. Every day is paradise for me and I consider myself very lucky and privileged to work with each and every one of my clients. Trusting me to help you is the greatest gift you can give me.

As a company policy, we’ll work with you and your family to make mental health treatment affordable- just like it should be.

Personal Experience
Having had the opportunity to work with such diversity, I have taken an interest and have dedicated myself to working with women who suffer from perinatal and postpartum disorders, and with psychoeducational testing. I am personally aware of the unspoken difficulties that come with being a mother and have made a promise to myself to help as many mothers as I possibly can as I believe every mother needs support and words of encouragement. In addition, although psychoeducational testing is unrelated to motherhood, I have had a great amount of training in psychoeducational testing, and have been fascinated with testing and how it can potentially improve a child’s academic and social success.
